Company
Jan Vorhölter combines ideas and practice with one goal in mind: to delight.
It takes only seconds for desires to arise – but years for real enthusiasm to evolve. And that’s why we design our furniture to last.
Consequently, durability has to be created in the process of production. Ever since our company was founded in 1888, we have acquired a wealth of experience in every single manufacturing method: from craft processing solid woods and the industrial processing of wood-based products to flexibly processing a wide range of materials.
This means that our production process does entirely without external furniture components: – with the aim of ensuring excellent quality. It also means that all our furniture– from start to finish – is made by one carpenter.
Our commitment to quality means that we apply unique standards when selecting our materials and staff. Thanks to their high motivation and skills, our employees frequently pass their journeyman examinations with distinction. They gain as much pleasure in manufacturing our products as our customers do in using our furniture every day.
Function-oriented Materials -> Perfect Craftsmanship -> Permanence
